Figure again

Some figure from my last figure drawing session i went to at demiurge, the girl kept on doing impossible looking poses so some of these look a little awkward

Cops

Holy crap! I haven't posted on here since august??? that's unnacceptable. I have some backlog to post up here : ) but here is my most recent piece. My half of a calendar piece for girls drawin girls, i have one half of cops and robbers, the robbers portion is being done by lindsey lydecker : )

also, i have no idea how to draw motorcycles, so...don't judge it too hard, please, i did try...

Mo Figya

Just some figure work, Demiurge is nice enough to continue letting me go to their weekly figure drawing sessions : )

Now that i'm unemployed hopefully i'll get more drawing done! The first is for a weekly (sorta) art blog that i am doing with my friend ami, the theme was "Traveling" and it features me in typical traveling chaos fashion. Refining the sketch seemed to make it loose something, so here it is in all it's sketchy glory. The second, which isn't very good :/ is my first attempt at a live digital painting of a person i was creepily watching in starbucks. hopefully future paintings will be much better and we'll see progress! :D

a few drawings

two starbucks drawings and a drawing from an anime convention. Drawing people sitting outside at the con I learned something quickly, if I draw people dressed up as anime characters...then...it looks like I'm drawing anime hahaha which wasn't what I wanted to do. But this one turned out okay.

Some Things

Just a few pictures, I've been pretty busy lately with work/freelance but here are a few things I've recently done/been meaning to post. The first seems to be what would happen if Julie Shin and I became one person and got caught in a rainstorm, the second are my favorite random people I've ever seen. This handsome, though trashy looking scruffy young man with his wifebeater, aviator sunglasses and long cigarette (he would have fit in perfectly in the movie Grease) who I saw with a very tall and incredibly skinny girl (i mistook her for a man at first) wearing a long flowing tie-dye dress that had a neck that plunged all the way to her belly button. They were definitely the weirdest couple of people I've seen together at once. The last are a group of knitters I saw at Mr. Crepe in Davis square, I've seen several different knitting boys in Davis so far.
