Low Tide

Just finished this, been working on and off on it for awhile, i think i'm finally happy with how it's looking : ) thanks everyone who gave me critiques!

Poster for my thesis, I think it effectively captures the feelings of drama and chaos that Toaster Purse leaves the viewer with.

Page 3 from my comic i've been doing from my independent study, it's one of my favorites so far. I think my writing is kinda poor, but i really like how the background came out.

Mermaids

Been busy with lighting/texturing/compositing my thesis, I did this while waiting for my renders to finish. I used to draw a lot of mermaids when I was little, I lovvveeeddd sea creatures and wanted to be a marine biologist (a marine biologist that just drew fish all day). I also love turtles. hahaha

: ) xmas/channukuh present for my friend, it's his four fav superheroes as a rock band. That's Booster Gold on vocals, Aquaman on guitar, Martian Manhunter on bass, and blue beetle on drums. The guitars are based off of Fender guitars, and the drums are basically ludwig drums. Drawing instruments is really hard!!

: ) some more sketchbook stuff, the first one i doodled on a page corner and then threw some color on in painter, it reminds me of my best friend from elementry/middle school and me. Not that either of us looked like that, i just get that feeling. the other one i planned out for a bit, my friends say I should submit it to threadless, i might make it purday and try that! hahaha it's entitled "chemistry"

Some more recent drawings from my sketchbook : ) I plan to color the ice queen one at some point, I think i might try actual watercolors but i fear the pencil linework wont be able to stand up to that, we shall see! I had a lot of fun working in black and white ink for the other two.
